Explore the world of Ticino wines

Wine lovers are at the right spot in Ticino: the vines visibly thrive on the sunny hills - over 80 percent of them bear Merlot grapes. From the rich harvest a fruity red wine, a light rosé and the coveted speciality "Bianco di Merlot" are pressed.

A passion to be cultivated

Ripe grapes release their rich perfume in the air. A ruby-coloured wine will be gently pressed out of them, but for now it is time to harvest. Nearly half of the grapes produced in Ticino originate in the Mendrisiotto region. But first, they must be picked.
