In the middle of Lugano, but far from the hectic traffic, there is the spectacular Winery built by Architect Mario Botta in 2009, rich with history but also with a creative outlook towards the future.
Moncucchetto offers prestigious wines, which under the direction of the enologist Cristina Monica give the best of the Terroir, which extends over 6.5 hectares between the hills of Agra, Sorengo, Bioggio, Boscherina and Morchino, resulting in the production of 30 bottles. The family firm Moncucchetto, organizes events, meetings, wine tastings, cookery courses, aperitifs, and banquets where the guests become spectators of the enological and gastronomical art.
In 2017, the Fattoria makes it to the Gault & Millau guide as one of the 100 best winemakers in Switzerland; furthermore, it will also be the first and only Swiss private club to be part of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the most ancient gastronomic association in the world.
