The restaurant has been run for over twenty years by chef-owner Alain Steffanina who, with the help of his partner Carmen Biaggi, has managed to create, in an exclusive setting, a combination of love for good food and the art of hospitality.

The restaurant's premises are a small architectural gem, with frescoes and sculptures on both the walls and ceilings, all worth seeing. The atmosphere is familiar yet sophisticated.

Chef Alain Steffanina and his entire staff know how to fully satisfy the desires of gourmets, with a harmonious combination of tasteful dishes and cordiality with a touch of cheerfulness in the service offered.

The specialities are beef or foal tartare prepared at the table, various game dishes in season and pizza (also gluten-free) cooked in a wood-fired oven.
The Osteria del Reno restaurant in Gravesano is located three minutes from the Lugano Nord motorway exit, in the direction of Manno.

The restaurant is air-conditioned on the upper floor and, in season, guests can sit on the large terrace with granite tables. A room is available for dinners and/or banquets for up to 35 people.

  • Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 14:00 and from 18:30 to 24:00
  • Saturday and Sunday from 18:30 to 24:00, kitchen open until 22:30 and pizzeria until 23:30
