Gabriella Monfredini Rigiani from Melide

In the renovated cantina Gabriella cooks for her hungry guests. It is an experience that you will not forget. Gabriella herself catches the fish and other special fresh foods are out of grandma’s garden.

"I’m a lively fisherwoman and like to entertain my guests in my old “cantina”. I also offer guided tours through old Melide where you can see the old cellar/food-store and original canteen of the village.
My cantina is newly renovated with a fireplace and a long table built out of wood. It is nicely decorated and perfect to enjoy my fish-specialties."
