Gala Concert Filarmonica Alta Leventina

Gianluigi Trovesi, the internationally renowned Italian jazz clarinettist and saxophonist, will present his musical project "Berg Heim - La Montagna Magica", together with soloists Rocío Sánchez Gallego on soprano sax, Elia Pellegri on alto and soprano sax, and accompanied by the Filarmonica Alta Leventina, conducted by Maestro Luca Medici, on Saturday, 2 December 2023 at 5 p.m., at the Airolo municipal gymnasium.

It is the revisitation for wind orchestra, with arrangements by Mo. Corrado Guarino, of the original project "Berg Heim, a little magic mountain", composed by Trovesi for the Alpentöne festival in Altdorf 2012, and presented there together with the OSI (Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana).

The Filarmonica Alta Leventina, with the invaluable support of Raiffeisen Tre Valli, is proud to be able to present this ambitious project at the Gala Concert 2023 together with Gianluigi Trovesi, a long-standing friend and admirer of our beautiful mountains (we remember the project "Ricercar Gottardo", composed with him in 2013).
