Patate e luganighe

Ingredients for 4 persons:

Boiled luganigas:

  • 4 luganigues
  • salt
  • water

Boiled potatoes:

  • 600 g potatoes resistant to cooking
  • salt
  • 0.6 dl water


To prepare the boiled luganighe: boil 4 luganighe in a pot with plenty of salted water for about 15 minutes. 

For the preparation of the potatoes: wash and peel the potatoes, then halve or cut them into four, so that all the pieces are more or less the same size. Pour the water into a saucepan, insert the steamer basket, place the potatoes on top and add salt.

Put the lid on the pot and steam over a medium heat for approx. 20 minutes.

Cooking test: Stick a knife into a potato, if the tip of the knife comes out easily, the potato is cooked.
