The vision. TheFilanda is the " piazza " of the future: a place dedicated to the meeting, exchange and creation of bonds.

Filanderi. At the heart of everything is the human aspect. TheFilanda lives thanks to many motivated people who provide their time and skills as volunteers. It is the Filanderi who welcome, collaborate in many tasks, help and offer entertainment.

The name "Filanderi" was coined to remember the origins of the factory of the building and in honor of the many spinning mills (the "filandèra" in the local dialect) who worked there.

Accessibility Services
This cultural/tourist point of interest took part in the digital data mapping project on accessibility by Pro Infirmis. The project was carried out with the collaboration and support of Ticino Turismo, the four regional tourist organisations and the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
