Ristorante Giardino, located in the very central and historic Via Orico, is warm and welcoming, tastefully furnished—modern yet never excessive. It features two lovely adjoining dining rooms and a summer terrace. A spacious outdoor terrace offers a peaceful setting where guests can dine among vineyards and the castle walls.
The cuisine is Mediterranean, with Italian touches and an international flair, featuring fish specialties and grilled dishes.

Chef Domenico Caputo invites guests on an excellent culinary journey. In addition to the daily menu, you can enjoy refined cuisine from an à la carte selection that highlights product quality and seasonal ingredients. Dishes include, for example, lightly seared tuna fillet with fruity extra virgin olive oil, pepper and oriental seeds; smoked duck breast with a medley of young vegetables and crispy puff pastry; maltagliati pasta with hare ragù and small vegetables; seafood-scented pappardelle with market-fresh crustaceans and shellfish; and vegetarian ravioli with truffle sauce and the essence of traditional Modena balsamic vinegar.

Also worth tasting are the Swiss Prime Beef veal fillet glazed with Ticino chestnut honey and pine nuts, Caribbean white prawn skewers grilled with Mediterranean vegetables, and delicious grilled sea fish specialties served with seasonal produce. Classic dishes such as beef tartare and fondue chinoise are also available. To finish, try the house-churned balsamic vinegar gelato with exotic fruit, wild-berry bavarois with a reduction of Passito di Pantelleria, and a frozen citrus parfait with Bourbon vanilla sauce and grand cru chocolate.

The pizzas are excellent too, including the “Giardino” with buffalo mozzarella and grilled vegetables, the “Luna nel pozzo” with spinach, egg and Grana shavings, the “Tropea” with swordfish and tomato, and the “Monte Cristo” with gorgonzola, Treviso radicchio and Grana shavings. The restaurant also produces its own pasta, bread, pastries, cakes, desserts and breakfast buffet. A variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes is also available. Everything is accompanied by a fine selection of wines and the friendly smile of the service staff.
