Handimals – The painted hands of Guido Daniele

Guido Daniele, artist and body painter of rare skill, has been painting on hands animals of all kinds, as well as plant forms, landscapes and architecture for over 20 years with hyper-realistic and stunning results.

His artworks have been exhibited in galleries, museums and other institutions all over the world.

Each creation, which takes four to five hours to complete, is photographed once finished and the make-up removed. The photographs therefore remain the only evidence of the work.

The impermanence of the works on the hands alludes to the vulnerability of the portrayed species. In this way, the artist intends to draw attention to the fragility of the wildlife world and, at the same time, to promote its respect and protection.

This exhibition presents 24 amazing large-format photographs, which illustrate, in a kaleidoscope of shapes and colours, the artist's patient and talented work between art and nature.
