Greina Trail

The Greina Trail is ready for its 7th edition

The 7th edition of the Greina Trail, a traditional mountain running race divided into several disciplines, will take place on 24th August. Since its first edition, it has been met with great success among athletes and enthusiasts alike.

The 2024 edition introduces a new format, with all races taking place on a single day. Over the weekend, numerous participants are expected to arrive not only from Ticino but also from all over Switzerland and neighbouring Italy.

Val Da Camp Trail

15.3 km - elevation gain and loss of 980 metres
Start at 10:00 am

The race starts from Campo Blenio along the road to Fopp Zott before descending and crossing the Orsera mountains.
A spectacular climb will take you to the Bovarina hut, followed by a descent to the Alpe Predasca and a continuation through the enchanting Lariceto forest, almost unique in Ticino with its typical clusters, before finishing at Campo Blenio.

The race counts towards the "Coppa ASTI Trail".

Classic Trail

27 km - elevation gain and loss of 1440 metres
Departure 9 a.m.

A PURE CLASSIC. Now in its seventh edition, this is the most successful route. An irresistible landscape. The Greina leads athletes through its finest views. A no-compromise competition. Many athletes, plenty of sport and great fun.

The race counts towards the "Coppa ASTI Trail".

Kids Trail

At the race village, you will find an obstacle course suitable for children aged 4 and over.
Start at 2:30 pm

All children aged between 4 and 12 can participate by registering on the morning of the race for a fee of 5 francs at the info point (from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm).

All participants will receive a gift from GreinaTrail.
