Finissage of the exhibition "Childhood of the magician"

"Childhood of the magician", an autobiographical fairy tale by Hermann Hesse, takes us on a journey through his childhood. In it, he describes the meaning of being a child and his own search for a place in the adult world, still magically connected to the secrets and dreams of a child. He playfully immerses himself in a world in which objects from his parents' house come to life before his inner eye.

On the afternoon of Saturday, February 24, curators Chiara Ottavi and Marcel Henry will guide visitors through the special exhibition "Childhood of the magician" one last time. The tour will be followed by two performances that you should not miss: the artistic monologue by Yuri Lupi, inspired by "Childhood of the magician" (Italian), and the performance by Florian Bessler (Italian and German) based on Hermann Hesse.

The performances will be followed by an aperitif.
