Special information on the processing of personal data via the online form
What it involves
When you use the following online form (hereinafter, the “online form”) to communicate with us, we collect information about you (hereinafter, “personal data”). The purpose of this document is to provide you with comprehensive information about the processing of personal data submitted via the online form. With regard to cookies, the newsletter and the processing of personal data not directly linked to the use of the online form, we refer you to our general information on personal data processing.
Who we are and how you can contact us
The Agenzia turistica ticinese (hereinafter, the “data controller”) establishes the purpose and means of processing your personal data. Information on the processing of personal data submitted via the online form
When you use the online form, we process personal data as follows.
Personal data processed on a mandatory basis: (i) IP address of the user’s device; (ii) personal data required by the online form (marked with an asterisk*) and entered by the user; (iii) services and products provided to the user.
Personal data processed on an optional basis: personal data required by the online form (without an asterisk*).
Purposes: (i) to allow the use of the Online Form; (ii) to identify the User; (iii) to verify the legitimacy of the User's request; (iv) to correspond with the User; (v) to follow up on the User's request; (vi) to store data relating to the transaction for contractual, commercial, tax, accounting and administrative purposes; (vii) to send newsletters to customers (for similar products and services) and non-customers (subject to consent to subscription to the mailing list);
Data processor: we have delegated the processing of personal data submitted via the online form to the following IT service provider: JOTFORM (https://www.jotform.com). JOTFORM provides and manages the online form completed by the user when submitting his/her request; JOTFORM collects the following personal data: IP address of the user’s device; personal data entered by the user in the online form. With regard to subscription to the newsletter, we have delegated the personal data processing to the following IT service provider: SALESFORCE (https://www.salesforce.com). SALESFORCE manages the user’s newsletter subscription data and collects the following personal data: personal data entered by the user in the online form.
Recipients: limited to the data specified in the previous paragraph, the recipients are the data processors: JOTFORM; SALESFORCE.
Transfer abroad: Germany (appropriate state under the Swiss Data Protection Act), limited to data collected by JOTFORM (as data controller).
Storage period: personal data are destroyed or rendered anonymous as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose(s) of the processing; the following activities are excepted: (i) storage required by law (e.g., data relevant for commercial accounting, including accounting documents): storage for 10 years from the end of the relevant accounting year; (ii) storage in the overriding interest of the data controller as owner of the website www.ticino.ch and/or contractual party of the user (defence against violation of legal and contractual obligations; proof of correct fulfilment of legal and contractual obligations): storage within the limits of the statute of limitations established by law in relation to the right/obligation justifying the storage.
