Laghetti di Corno Gries

The Laghetti di Corno Gries are located in a scenic alpine landscape above the Bedretto Valley, at the foot of the pass of the same name, and are an ideal destination for a panoramic hike suitable for the whole family.

The mountain lakes are easily accessible via a hiking route that starts at Alpe Cruina (2,003 m), which can be conveniently reached in summer by post bus from Airolo. The trail climbs gradually, passing through Alpe Corno (2,205 m) and the Corno Gries SAC Mountain Hut (2,338 m), before reaching the Laghetti di Corno Gries at elevations of 2,477 and 2,485 metres.

From the upper lake, it is possible to continue to the Mändeli (2,499 m) and reach the Nufenen Pass road. From there, hikers can return to Alpe Cruina, completing a pleasant circular route, or take the post bus, which stops along the pass road.
