Luna Park – Come un giro di giostra | Compagnia Finzi Pasca, Lugano

After the great success achieved when it was first staged in 2020, at the height of the Covid pandemic, Luna Park is back again and, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Finzi Pasca Company, it will now be presented in a new version.

This event can be described as an installation-show in which the spectators are guided as if they were taking a carousel ride through an immersive, exciting and slightly nostalgic experience that will take them into the very heart of the show: a truly different way of experiencing the theatre in which the audience directly participates.

Divided into small groups, the spectators are accompanied onto the LAC stage, inside the stage machines and the secret world of theatrical actors and clowns. This is a return to the origins of the Finzi Pasca Company, but it is entirely dedicated to today's audience who will thus have the opportunity to let themselves be carried away by the lights, colours, mirrors, music and nostalgia of a surprising and carefree era.

Amusement parks, of which Coney Island’s original Luna Park was the forerunner, are nostalgic places suspended in time, where worlds of light and mirrors create emotions, surprises and happiness. There is mystery in amusement parks, as well as in this show during which the audience will travel in dreams, behind the scenes, discovering unique and secret points of view, finding themselves experiencing the stage together with the performers and closer to them than they have ever been.
