Rustic Ticinese structure in 1900s style, family-run, inclusive of a tavern and accommodation, located on a hill 10 minutes from the centre, in a very quiet area surrounded by nature. Simplicity and genuineness are the house's characteristics.
The cuisine offers typical subalpine dishes with great attention to nature and rustic simplicity. In particular, artificial, industrial, and mass-produced cuisine is avoided.
Specialities include soups, risottos, gnocchi, and game meats accompanied by polenta and Ticinese "pommes frites." The Ticinese "poor cow," that is, the goat, is also valued.
Many of the foods offered are home-produced, such as syrups, jams, sauces, and more. Additionally, in the old wood-fired oven, bread, plaited bread, some desserts, wild boar, porchetta, etc., are produced monthly.
Try it to believe it!
