The Grotto Pozzasc stands in an idyllic location on the banks of the river that flows out of the Peccia Valley. Originally, the building was a water mill, as is still apparent in its wood and stone interior. Every day, the owners prepare delicious polenta on the fire, with stew, various cheeses, mortadella, and codigotto. All of these can be savoured on the outdoor terrace with its eclectic granite tables, from which you can enjoy a fantastic view over the river in the shade of large trees. Other specialties served by Claudia and Christian include minestrone, stewed tripe, charcuterie, local cheeses, and homemade cakes. Local kid (young goat), soused trout and wild game are available on a seasonal basis.
