The Grotto Mornera is located adjacent to the cable car arrival station in Mornera (1,347 metres above sea level). It is family-run and the passion as well as the Ticino tradition is reflected in their every gesture.
Among the dishes served daily are home-made charcuterie, Alpe cheeses as well as Ticino minestrone. The grotto also offers a daily menu.
This area is the starting point for numerous hikes such as the Capanna Albagno, Cima del Gaggio or Cima dell'Uomo.
There is also the possibility of hiring equipment for the Via Ferrata dei Tre Signori.
