Ristorante La Stüa - Pesciüm, Airolo

Reachable from Airolo in just 7 minutes by cable car, the restaurant La Stüa is located in the center of the area and is the ideal place for those who want to stop for a refreshing break. La Stüa restaurant has 80 seats inside and 50 on the terrace, and offers typical regional dishes that a member of the staff can recommend at best.
This restaurant is also perfect for those who want to enjoy a breathtaking view: in just a few minutes by cable car, the landscape of Pesciüm changes completely from that of Airolo! A stone's throw away, there is also a viewpoint from which you can admire the Gotthard.

Starting from winter 2019, La Stüa Restaurant is managed by Valbianca Gastro Sagl, in reorganized spaces and in a new guise. The kitchen offers a cuisine based on local products processed in a simple and accurate way, so that you can taste the flavors of the culinary tradition of the mountains. The speciality, the "pollo al cestello", is absolutely worth tasting, and is also available with a lactose-free and gluten-free sauce.
Those who want to taste the cuisine of La Stüa Restaurant can do so without skis, taking advantage of the winter package Pesciüm (return by cable car + menu of the day at Fr.30.-). On sunny days you can also enjoy a glass of wine or an aperitif on the new and modern outdoor terrace.

If you would like to make a short stop before going back on the slopes, you can stop at the self-service La Sala restaurant in Pesciüm, where you will find a rich salad buffet, a pasta corner, as well as a varied menu of the day and typical dishes.
