Ambrì (1'000 msm) is a picturesque village located in the heart of the Alps in the upper Leventina Valley.
Situated 6 km from the exit of the S.Gottardo tunnel (southbound) and 1 km from the Quinto motorway exit (northbound), it has in its immediate vicinity: the "Gottardo Arena" HCAP headquarters, the departure of the Ritom funicular (which will take you to the splendid Cadagno region and its small lakes) and the Rodi-Fiesso cableway that will take you to Lake Tremorgio (a gem of the Alpine lake).
Various sports activities, both summer and winter, can be practised throughout the Alta Leventina region, such as mountain biking, hiking, climbing, alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing.
