The name of the Relais takes its origin from the castle of Morcote, the only medieval fortress in the Lugano territory and heart of the family’s vineyard, where high quality wine, olive oil and honey are produced. During your stay, you will be surrounded by an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, a whispered luxury given by the care that has been dedicated to every detail in order to enhance this historic building, a former seventeenth century convent, transformed into a charming hotel with all the comforts and privacy that a villa can offer. An intimate Mediterranean garden welcomes you to relax, sunbathe or sip an aperitif at sunset, while enjoying a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Two restaurants La Sorgente, situated inside the Relais with a splendid terrace, and Vicania (immersed in the greenery of the vineyard) offer the best of authentic local cuisine.
