B&B Chiarina

The Bed & Breakfast Chiarina is housed in an 18th century house in the historic centre of Muggio.

The building is constructed with materials from Monte Generoso. After almost a century and a major renovation, which did not modify the rooms but only replaced certain materials, the house is now back to life and welcoming travellers.

The village has been inhabited since ancient times and has managed to reach the present day intact. Surrounded by unspoilt nature, the Bed & Breakfast Chiarina is a true oasis of tranquillity in an area of Canton Ticino renowned for its vibrant mountains, vineyards and typical products.

Our B&B has five rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning. The smart room is on the ground floor and has a private bathroom outside the room, the three special rooms have unique features and all have an en-suite bathroom.
The comfort room is on the top floor and is more spacious with a view of the valley.
Two entire flats in Cabbio are also available (2-4 persons and 4-6 persons).

We offer our guests breakfast (included in the room rate, every day from 7.00 am to 10.00 am) and the possibility to have a snack during the day. In the Merenderia, where there is also a television if you want to watch programmes, our staff is always available to help you taste the typical products of the valley.

A selection of sausages, cheeses, jams, but also wines and bitters made according to ancient recipes (as in the case of Zincarlin and Amaro Generoso), are available to those who feel peckish and appreciate discovering tastes and scents different from those they are used to.
