Swiss Mill Day 2025

Discover Swiss mills in action! On the Saturday after Ascension, doors are open in Ticino for a journey through tradition, ingenuity and freshly ground flour. The Swiss Association of Friends of the Mills (ASAM) organizes the Swiss Mill Day every year, to provide a first-hand look behind the scenes of ancient traditions.

On that day in Ticino the mills open their doors to visitors. This national event represents an important part of the work done by ASAM for the public. In the past, over 25,000 people have joined the event each year. The association's website lists all the participating mills in Ticino, such as
