Nativity Scene Trail - Bellinzona

I walk inside the Church of the Sacred Heart in Bellinzona among about forty nativity scenes, under the theme "hope does not disappoint."

This edition will feature a large "transparent" nativity scene by Ticino artist Michele Vescovi. The large nativity scene will present the Nativity with a mountain and rural setting inspired by Ticino. The interactive nativity scene will allow visitors to complete the work with a character from those prepared for the occasion.

The opening ceremony, at the 10:45 a.m. Mass on December 14th, will be presided over by Bishop Alain de Remy.

DAILY HOURS: 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM;
Christmas Day and New Year's Day: 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM.

During liturgical services, visits to the nativity scenes are not allowed.
