Kaspar Ludwig. Manor Art Prize Ticino 2026

Ludwig’s artistic practice, which includes sculpture, installation, scenography and curatorial projects, investigates themes such as memory, repetition and transformation. With an approach that emphasizes the manual, artisanal nature of materials, he offers up an original, altered vision of everyday life, often with a marked sense of irony.

The jury particularly appreciated his focus on materials and his subversive approach to what is socially accepted or rejected, prompting critical – and self-critical – reflections on the norms that govern the spaces we inhabit.
