Axion Lugano Summer Ride 2026

The cycling buzz will be in full swing on the shores of Lake Ceresio, where the fifth edition of the Axion Lugano Summer Ride will take place on Sunday 7 June – an event that brings together professional, youth and amateur cycling in a festive atmosphere. Once again this year, the event will bring to the city some of the absolute stars who have shone in the recently concluded Giro d’Italia.

The route will wind along Lugano’s lakeside promenade, which will be completely closed to traffic.

Programme:

• 11:30 am – 4:45 pm: Races and prize-giving for the youth categories
• 4:55 pm – 7:15 pm: Races and prize-giving for the amateur category
• 7:30 pm – 9:15 pm: Race and prize-giving for the men’s elite professional category

The event village will feature promotional stands, refreshment stands and food trucks.
