Sapori e Saperi returns in its 21st edition.

Alpinavera will present regional producers with their specialities in Bellinzona.

Alpinavera is an intercantonal association, which is supported by artisanal food producers, farmers and farm workers from the cantons of Graubünden, Uri, Glarus and Ticino. Every year, alpinavera supports the exhibition Sapori e Saperi with a contribution of CHF 40,000. In addition, alpinavera is committed to the marketing of alpine, mountain and regional products. In order for a baker, butcher or cheese maker to become a member of alpinavera, the ingredients of artisanal food specialities must originate at least 80% from the cantons of Graubünden, Uri, Glarus or Ticino. In the case of Swiss Culinary Heritage products, if their ingredients are not sufficiently available in the region, they may be of Swiss origin. Furthermore, two thirds of the value creation must take place in these mountain regions. To guarantee the origin of the ingredients, the products are checked and certified by independent inspection and certification centres (bio.inspecta).
