See you at Hollywood every last Friday of the month

After a first year full of concerts and satisfactions for the appreciation shown by an increasingly loyal and numerous audience, the staff of the Hollywood Restaurant Bar Pizzeria in via Bagutti in Molino Nuovo is launching into an even more generous 2024 of musical events aimed in particular to fans of rock, blues and pop. On the Hollywood stage there is "live" music every Thursday (evening dedicated to jam sessions), Friday and Saturday evenings.

And every last Friday of the month (excluding summer) is a Blues Night, sponsored by Lugano Region and featuring local bluesmen or those from nearby Italy.

This is the program of the three events scheduled for spring:

March 29: Riki Massini & Bonus Track
Riki Massini from Biella has his idol in the late Rory Gallagher, of whom he is not, however, a simple "clone": from the famous Irish guitarist, Riki has drawn some secrets to create his own musical personality made of full-bodied blues rock, both electric and acoustic , where every evening is a new experience and each concert is different from the previous one.

April 26: Marco Marchi & The Mojo Workers
Winner of the Swiss Blues Award 2022, Marco Marchi retraces with his Mojo Workers that fantastic repertoire of acoustic blues which over the last fifteen years has allowed him to carve out a niche for himself on the European scene. A repertoire of blues, ragtime, early jazz and boogie from the 1920s to the 1950s, proposed with a completely unique style, made of energy, passion and authenticity.

May 31: Max Dega & Chiara Borgonovo
The "host" Max Dega (in fact artistic director of the Lugano Blues Nights) takes to the Hollywood stage accompanied by the faithful Vanni Patriarca on bass and Robi Panzeri on drums. Joining the guitarist from Lugano for the occasion is the singer, keyboardist and violinist Chiara Borgonovo.
