La natura morta attraverso il tempo

The exhibition 'La natura morta attraverso il tempo' presents works from an important Swiss private collection and from the art collection of the Kurt and Barbara Alten Cultural Foundation. A selection of paintings by Italian, Flemish and German still life masters is compared with works from the 20th century, with the aim of highlighting the similarities in form and content, but also the many differences.

The exhibition, curated by art historian Harald Fiebig, is a project of the Foundation for Culture Kurt and Barbara Alten in Solothurn, in collaboration with the Museo Comunale d'Arte Moderna and the Comune of Ascona.
