Inauguration of the Via Francisca del Lucomagno from Olivone to Lottigna

The association Amici della Via Francisca del Lucomagno is happy to announce that, thanks to the collaboration of the Bellinzona e Valli tourist organisation (OTR-BV), the laying of the signposts from Lucomagno to Monte Ceneri has been completed. 

To celebrate this first milestone, we invite you to discover the Via Francisca del Lucomagno from Olivone to Lottigna on Sunday 22 October 2023.

Programme:

10.00 - Meeting at the Olivone Town Hall, brief greeting and departure along the route on the left bank of the Blenio Valley towards Ponto Acquilesco, Aquila, Dangio, and Torre.

12.30 - Lunch at Sacco (individual) at the Torre football field

13.30 - Departure in the direction of Lottigna, via Grumo

14.30 - Arrival at the Lottinga Museum and brief official part with greetings from AVFL, OTR Bellinzona e Valli and the Municipality of Blenio. Possibility to visit the Museum (the visit is offered by the Blenio Museum Association) and snack offered by OTR Bellinzona e Valli.
Along the way, Egon Maestri and Luca Solari of Blenio Bellissima will tell us about the history of Blenio Valley culture.
