Historic Train - Soundtracks with Jazz Ascona

Second edition to the beat of music!
The Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway and Jazz Ascona are waiting for you to enjoy a dream journey on board the fascinating Historical Train... accompanied by the notes of fine Jazz musicians!

The musical programme starts at Locarno station. It will be followed by an interlude in Intragna and a concert with aperitif in Camedo.

Travelling on the historic train you will be catapulted into an old-time atmosphere. The train runs between Locarno and Camedo at a maximum speed of 40 km/h, giving passengers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.

Let yourself be carried away by the music and enjoy this extraordinary show, which will have an extraordinary stage for the occasion, in a natural setting that will enchant you.

From hearing to taste….Soundtracks will also delight you from the gastronomic point of view, with a tasty aperitif in Camedo that will also bring with it the culinary traditions of New Orleans.

There are no discounted tickets for children under the age of 16.

The price includes the return journey on the historic train and the aperitif (drinks included). On the historic train it is not possible to travel with other tickets. No discount for AG, half price and Ticino Ticket.

The historic train will consist of the 1963 ABDe 6/6 electric train and a 1963 B123 carriage.
