The Pian Marnino winery began operations in 1985 with the aim of using the grapes from its own vines on the Gudo hills for winemaking. The municipality of Gudo is located on the right bank of the River Ticino, between Bellinzona and Locarno. All the vines are cultivated using an environmentally-friendly system of integrated production, and a precise winemaking process enables us to offer premium wines suitable for a long period of ageing.
The main grape variety cultivated is Merlot. For some years now, we have specialized in a refinement process using Bordeaux barrels for our reserve we call "ORO", which means gold. The winery can be visited by appointment, as can the vineyards that surround it. A special cellar is available for wine-tasting and direct sales of our products.
The structure can also be reached by bicycle as it is located directly on the official cycle path of the Piano di Magadino.
