Rent a Bike – Book online

Rent a Bike is the leading service provider for rental bikes, e-bikes and mountain bikes. With 100 rental stations across Switzerland, we're always nearby. Here's what you can expect:

• Bikes - Newest bikes of top quality and service. The bike fleet is ongoing renewed.
• Swiss Brands - Narrow partnerships with the manufacturers Tour de Suisse Rad and FLYER. You can find in our bike fleet mostly bikes made in Switzerland. It is complemented by bikes from the German brand Stevens.
• Large choice of tours and flexibility - Pick up your bicycle at one station and return it to another, allowing you to enjoy a tailor-made itinerary thanks to the extensive bike rental network.
• Security - Thanks the cooperation with SUVA free helmets can be provided.

How it works

Reserving rental bikes

• Reserve your rental bike directly online or by contacting the relevant rental station by phone or email with your details.
• It is worth booking early. Groups and schools in particular should book in good time so that sufficient bikes are available on the day of travel required.
• Payment can be made online during the booking process or directly at the rental station on the day of collection.
• Many rental points are located directly at the station or a maximum of 300 metres from the station.

Collecting your rental bike

• At the rental station, you will receive your rental agreement. Please bring a valid ID together with your Half Fare Travelcard, GA Travelcard or SwissPass. If you have not paid online, you can pay on site using the usual payment methods (cash and most debit and credit cards).

Giving back the rental bike.

• Bicycles and e-bikes can be returned to the same rental station where they were collected or, if arranged in advance when booking, to a different station.
