Photographic Archive Donetta

Collection of extraordinary photographs by Roberto Donetta (1865-1932)

The restoration and preservation of the collection of the photographer Roberto Donetta has led to the digitization of the 5000 plates that make up the heart of his work.

This process now allows the visualization of Donetta's photographs through the Internet.

The project was carried out in collaboration with:

• Memoriav, Association for the Protection of Swiss Audiovisual Memory
• Swiss Agency for Photographic Conservation
• Swiss National Sound Archives

All photographs are the property of the Donetta Foundation and are covered by copyright.

Since May 2007, the approximately 5000 photographs have all been available online.

Corzoneso can be reached in fifteen minutes from the motorway exit of Biasca, A2 (S.Gottardo - Chiasso) or from the North, via Passo del Lucomagno.
