The Park of the Motta valley, which spreads on 163 hectares, is mostly covered with a wooden surface and is crossed by the torrent Roncaglia.
The creation of the Park allowed the restoration of a network of footpaths which links the various communes of the Basso Mendrisiotto and can be covered through a particularly beautiful natural environment. Didactic pannels are present along the main path to describe the particularities of the area. A walk in the Park offers natural and attractive surroundings to the visitors throughout the whole year.
The mill of Daniello, built in 1801 in Coldrerio, represents the heart of the valley Park and has been restored. There is the possibility to visit the structure by appointment, by contacting the communal office of Coldrerio.
