InfoPoint Bellinzona

A new InfoPoint has recently been opened in the heart of the capital city, not only as a reception point for tourists, but also as a real attraction. In fact, inside it you can find an experiential table that will allow visitors to learn about the territory and its peculiarities in an interactive and multimedia way.

For a more immersive experience there is instead the Caleido Experience, a chamber of mirrors where you will be completely immersed in the splendid kaleidoscopic images of the entire Bellinzona and Valleys region. In addition, the Bottega Ticino a Te will allow you to buy tasty local products, a good bottle of wine from the region or souvenirs. At the new InfoPoint Bellinzona it is also possible to buy tickets for visits to the Fortezza, the Teatro Sociale and the Villa dei Cedri.

Accessibility Services

The InfoPoint is also attentive to accessibility for people with disabilities: it has a lift to facilitate access and an iPad for the blind and visually impaired, which reproduces the content shown on the screens of the interactive table, guaranteeing everyone a complete and inclusive enjoyment of the information and experiences on offer.

This cultural/tourist point of interest took part in the digital data mapping project on accessibility by Pro Infirmis. The project was carried out with the collaboration and support of Ticino Turismo, the four regional tourist organisations and the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
