Through clay and ancient gestures, we rediscover the slowness and the beauty of creating something that connects us and endures. A shared imprint, capable of turning matter into memory.
A two-hour workshop to rediscover the pleasure of creating with your hands and feeling the material take shape.
After a short walk in nature, during which each participant can collect leaves and small plants, the work with clay will begin: a ball of earth to be modelled and rolled out, ready to receive the imprint of the chosen leaf.
The saucer will gradually take shape, drawing its form, lifting and smoothing the edges with your hands and with slow, careful movements.
Each creation will then be glazed and fired in the studio and sent to the participants, ready to reach them at home as a souvenir of Ticino.
