Chiesa di S. Bartolomeo

The Church of San Bartolomeo is of Romanesque origin. The frescoes inside, in the semicircular apse, are signed by the painters Thomas and Balthasar and bear the names of the patrons and the year of completion, 1440. They depict the Majestas Domini with the Evangelists and the 12 Apostles.

Of particular note on the walls are a seated Madonna and a rare depiction of the Coronation of the Virgin, discovered in 1945, over which the Holy Trinity looms. The figure of Saint Anthony the Abbot with a bell, situated to the side, bears the date 1366.
