Discover three architectural icons in Ronco sopra Ascona with Sabrina Németh, qualified architect and spatial planner. A journey through time to the classicist, modern and contemporary eras. The tour starts with a brief introduction to the regional and local history. It then focuses on the urban and landscape context of the individual houses and their architectural response to the site. The buildings also reflect the lifestyles and different cultural influences of an era.

We visit three private houses:
Casa Ciseri (ca.1830), historic centre of Ronco;
Detached house (1990), Ronco, Arch. Luigi Snozzi (from the outside);
Casa Tutsch (1928), Porto Ronco, Arch. Carl Weidemeyer, pioneer of modern architecture in Ticino. Unique opportunity to visit the entire house with access to the lake.
