An experience for the whole family. The Baumgartner Gallery a success story.

For over twenty years it has been a landmark for model railway collectors and families. A unique exhibition that enthuses enthusiasts and leaves visitors of all ages amazed.

With an area of 2320 m2 spread over three floors, 2540 metres of track and space for more than 4000 models from Bruno Baumgartner's collection and numerous other private collections, there really is something for everyone.

Are you ready for a tour? A fairytale world awaits you as you travel on model tracks reproducing landscapes, bridges, villages and tunnels in various scales.

You can also find some dioramas faithfully reproducing stations or railway lines.

The Postal Museum. Relive the history of the Swiss Post. Discover objects and devices saved from a past of letters written for duty, love or glory.

Accessibility Services
This cultural/tourist point of interest took part in the digital data mapping project on accessibility by Pro Infirmis. The project was carried out with the collaboration and support of Ticino Turismo, the four regional tourist organisations and the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
