Ice fishing in Carì

Ever thought about ice fishing in Ticino? In the Leventina Valley it is possible!

At the Carì alpine lake, located at an altitude of about 2,250 metres above the sea level, from 14th January 2023 it’s possible to go ice fishing during the winter season.

A suggestive place that allows hook and trout lovers to enjoy a unique experience in the whole of Ticino.

The lake can be easily reached by the two chairlifts (Carì / Brusada e Brusada/Lago di Carì)and a short walk along a well-marked path.

In order to fish, you first need a short-term permit, which is issued by Nuova Carì. It is even mandatory to register 48 hours in advance at [email protected].

Fishing is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9.30 a.m. to 3 p.m., only on days when the ski lifts are in operation.
To arrange other possible days, please contact the organisers.
