Ca.Stella Camping del Monte San Giorgio is situated in a unique and enchanted location, surrounded by greenery at the foot of Monte San Giorgio, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A stream and a pond make it a peaceful place full of charm and tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. In this beautiful setting, there are also two swimming pools, ideal for cooling off, and an entertaining playground for the little ones.
The campground is part of a social enterprise, Ca.Stella & Camping del Monte San Giorgio, which also includes group accommodations at the Ca.Stella FARM facility, located 1 km from the campground, offering activities such as Pet Therapy and Garden Therapy. The Social Enterprise is a project supported by the Foundation Main dans la Main.
The campground, known in the area for its famous teepees, offers campers various accommodations on pitches immersed in nature for tents and campers. There are also brand-new, well-appointed Safari tents for 2 people, to welcome nature lovers. In this paradise, there is also a charming bistro that offers delicacies prepared with local products, including vegetables from the Ca.Stella FARM garden, according to the seasons.
The village of Meride is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Mendrisiotto, and nearby you can visit the Fossil Museum, the archaeological park of Tremona, the quarries of Arzo with the natural amphitheater, and the Brusino-Serpiano Cable Car. In nearby Italy, you can visit Como with its imposing period villas lining the lakeside promenade from Villa Olmo to the center, or Villa Balbianello up to Bellagio reachable by boat.
The campground reception will also be available to share all the leisure, relaxation, and cultural discovery opportunities of the area.
