Mountain hut Starlaresc
The hike to the Lake of Starlarèsc da Scimarmòta requires a steep 1200 m climb, from the village of Brione Verzasca near Sgerbi. The lake is actually tiny but its spectacular position perched on a mountain shelf is unique: the views are absolutely breathtaking! The Poncione d'Alnasca is clearly visible from this magnificent spot. The descent is along the same trail as the climb.
