16 GaultMillau points and a Michelin star for a unique and unrepeatable style of cooking: that of I Due Sud is a world that recounts Executive Chef Marco Veneruso's Campania origins and mixes them with the excellent raw materials of Ticino, in search of a gastronomic balance that ranges between classic and avant-garde flavours.
Marco Veneruso's cuisine is the result of his human and professional experience. In fact, the Chef enriches the Splendide's sustainable, sophisticated and versatile gastronomic offer with an international and cosmopolitan touch, added to his solid foundation in Mediterranean and Neapolitan culinary traditions.
At Veneruso's side is a young and talented brigade, with Nataly Buttgenbach as Sous-Chef at I Due Sud, continuing in the professional role that had already seen her involved in the gastronomic restaurant at the Splendide since opening day in 2019. The icing on the cake is the breathtaking view, with tables directly overlooking Ceresio Lake.
