After years of closure, the Buffet Bellavista reopens, the grotto of the rack railway station with the same name, which has led from Capolago to the Vetta since 1890.
This icon of Ticino tourism returns to the Mendrisiotto, to its inhabitants and to all lovers of Monte Generoso a load of emotions, memories and the beauty of a unique panorama.
It is undoubtedly the ideal place for a break after a walk, for lunch with friends, to celebrate an anniversary or to spend a few hours away from the hectic pace of the city. It is possible to reserve the location exclusively for private and evening events.
Inside, 40 seats on two floors, a large fireplace and two stoves create a cosy and convivial atmosphere. Outside, large wooden tables and benches provide an immersive break in nature. The menu offers simple and genuine dishes that bring to the table all the flavours of Ticino and the dish of the day, which is declined from time to time according to the seasons.
