This route is another special treat for hiking enthusiasts, with a breathtaking natural landscape which becomes more stunning as you climb.
From Peccia, the path climbs up to Camblee, where you will find an old granary turne into an open-air museum.
When you reach Mogno, you can stop and admire the Church of San Giovanni Battista, designed by the architect Mario Botta, and then continue onwards to the village of Fusio with its notable buildings.
From there you can catch a glimpse of the awe-inspiring Sambuco dam, your next destination.
Carry on along the path which runs parallel to the lake until you reach the Narèt area with its magnificent lakes. You can then either backtrack to Fusio (4.5 h) and enjoy a relaxing night there or continue onwards through spectacular pristine landscape to the Cristallina mountain cabin (1.5 h).
