Villa Sassa – A Cosmopolitan Journey Through Music, Entertainment & Encounters

The heart of the entertainment is entrusted to three extraordinary artists: the saxophone, with its warm and enveloping notes; the multi-instrumental guitarist, capable of transforming into a sound designer and DJ; and a charismatic, internationally renowned female vocalist whose versatility allows her to move seamlessly from swing to contemporary pop to global hits. Her presence and range make her the centerpiece of the evening’s entertainment, able to move, engage, and energize the audience.

Decorative elements, illuminated with refined detail, create a welcoming and sophisticated setting that enhances performances, moving from the intimate atmosphere of the aperitif to the vibrancy of the after-dinner celebration.

The evening opens at 7:00 pm with Ruinart Champagne in the Brè Room, accompanied by the saxophone. The gastronomic journey immediately takes on a cosmopolitan character, with stations combining international flavors and local tradition: premium oysters and sushi, hand-carved jamón serrano, and finger foods reinterpreting Ticino products in a contemporary way.

From 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm, dinner in the veranda, Brè Room, and at Sassa Bistrot & Bar becomes a spectacle in itself: signature dishes such as lobster with caviar, grand Rossini raviolo with foie gras and black truffle, roasted turbot with spicy notes, and veal cube with truffle sauce tell a story of refined and creative luxury, perfectly in line with the convivial and international soul of the Villa.

Throughout dinner, the three artists weave their performances together, enriching each course with unique musical atmospheres.

At around 11:30 pm, the artists unite in a crescendo leading into the countdown and midnight toast. To mark the passage, a dedicated corner offers cotechino and lentils – a traditional ritual elegantly revisited. At 12:05 am, the evening takes on a new form in the Lugano Room: the guitarist transforms into a DJ sound designer, and the vocalist becomes a captivating live singer, igniting the dance floor until 3:00 am.

The following day, conviviality continues with a late breakfast leading into a rich brunch served until 2:30 pm in the veranda, Brè Room, and at Sassa Bistrot & Bar. Live cooking stations and thematic corners – from Ticinese to Detox, International to Sweet – ensure variety and vibrancy. To close the day, at 3:00 pm, a lively tombola animated by a charismatic entertainer keeps energy and smiles alive on the first day of the year.
