swissceramics. Uno sguardo sulla ceramica svizzera contemporanea.

In collaboration with the swissceramics association, the Museum is offering an exhibition featuring the works of 25 ceramists active in Switzerland, selected from 64 nominations by a five-member jury: Hanspeter Dähler, curator of the exhibition, Claire Fitzgerald, curator en chef of the Musée Ariana in Geneva, Adrian Knüsel, member of the swissceramics association, Antonia Nessi, director of the Vincenzo Vela Museum, and Simone Soldini, former director of the Mendrisio Art Museum.

The exhibition offers a visual journey that crosses interior landscapes but also the fragilities of the world, highlighting the expressive richness of ceramics as an artistic language.

The works on display, sculptures, plastic creations, installations, reflect the current trends in contemporary ceramics: from the reinterpretation of archetypal forms to formal experimentation, up to sustainability and the relationship with nature.

Mediation appointments and cultural events are scheduled for the entire duration of the exhibitions. The program can be viewed at LINK.
