Naregna - Biasca Carnival

Now in its 123rd year, Naregna '26 will take place late at night from Wednesday, February 18th to Saturday, February 21st. Distinguished by its biting satire and its great affection for masks, the Biasca Carnival has a long tradition of masked groups and floats that leave their mark on every carnival they participate in. Naregna is a human-sized carnival, open, accessible, and for all generations.

The Naregna program's highlights include the Wednesday Night Parade—a unique event in Ticino—the Children's Parade on Thursday with activities dedicated to them, the Seniors' Lunch on Friday, the Risotto Festival, and the Grand Masked Parade on Saturday. The epicenter of Naregna is the Osteria Taitü, offering traditional meals, a screening of Carnival photographs, and activities for all generations.
