With its UNESCO World Heritage fortress consisting of three castles, its wonderful historic center with its ancient alleys, its surrounding hills and mountains that define its perimeter and its grandiose and verdant nature, Bellinzona is a fascinating place, absolutely unmissable to visit and in which… WALK and RUN!
Saturday, 30.05.2026, the entire day - named BELLINZONA Move & GO! - is dedicated to the presentation, in Piazza del Sole, of the region's sports and cultural associations, an open lunch for the population, the parents-children charity race, and a musical aperitif (live), until late evening.
Sunday, 31.05.2026, the race day includes an 11 km walk (starting from Piazza del Sole at 9:45 am) and an 11 km run (starting from Montebello Castle at 10:45 am). In addition to an open lunch for the entire population (offered to registered participants), the whole day is characterized by the medieval re-enactment of "Spada nella Rocca" ("Sword in the Fortress").
