About the event

"Un altro Ferragosto" by Paolo Virzì is presented as part of Festeggiamo!, the open-air cinema series held in several atmospheric locations across the Locarnese and Valleys.

The fifth edition features eight films selected by Giona A. Nazzaro, artistic director of the Locarno Film Festival. The programme is linked to outstanding women of cinema honoured at past editions of the festival.

• Screening in the original Italian version
• Part of a regional summer series developed in collaboration with the Locarno Film Festival
• During the evening, a general pass for the 79th edition of the Locarno Film Festival will be raffled; additional tickets will be awarded through online and radio contests.

The initiative is organised and funded by the municipalities of Locarnese e Valli in collaboration with Radio Ticino, Amici del Cinema del Gambarogno and Cinematografo Ambulante (Cinetour).
